The remaining eight players will be battling it out for the first place prize of $483k and the coveted World Series of Poker bracelet. One of those remaining eight players is Tom "Durrrr" Dwan. Final chip counts have not yet been released, but it appears as though he will be entering the final table with somewhere north of 600k in chips, which would be good for third place. As mentioned, this will be Tom Dwan's first trip to a World Series of Poker final table. This is notable because Dwan is easily one of the top poker players in the world, and this is the first WSOP that he has been able to play in (he turned 21 last July). It was just a matter of time before he made his first WSOP final table, and it will likely be just a matter of time before he wins his first bracelet. He has already accumulated over $800k in total lifetime tournament cashes, including a final table appearance at the 2007 World Poker Finals championship event.

As of April 3rd, 2008, Tom "durrrr" Dwan has emerged as the biggest winner on Full Tilt Poker Year to Date with a total estimated profit of $2.132 million dollars. This takes into account the high stakes Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Hold'em games on the site, and doesn't include any of the mixed games.

He is up a combined $2.8 million on Full Tilt Poker and has done very well in some live events as well.
